Baby Boy Card

Okay. I did what I told myself I wouldn't do. I broke down and started another card before I finished my Thanksgiving cards. I have to make 25 cards and have got all the images colored in and 6 cards completed. I am go CRAZY mass producing them and needed a change.

PLUS I did have some friends that recently had babies so theoretically I did need to make them.

AND it's only the middle of October so surely I can get the rest of my Thanksgiving cards done in time, right? :)))

So here is my card for a baby boy using the SCS card sketch challenge 198. I stamped the sail boat several times and couldn't get the image to "pop."



I tried outlining it, didn't work. Finally after I bothered my husband for the dozenth time he said "honey just use some glitter!" LOL.. so after a few more times I added glitter and colored the star blue and yes my DH was right, the glitter did the trick.

Ink: Stampin UP! Yellow (6320-32)
Paper: Blue handmade paper, yellow cardstock from Hobby Lobby, blue background paper (not sure what brand)
Accessories: Yellow ribbon and glitter
