World Alzheimer’s Day

Today is World Alzheimer's Day. Cammie at Heart to Heart recently released her newest set of stamps through Gina K Designs called Whimsical Autumn, which benefits the Alzheimer's Association. Several companies (ie Verve, Starving Artistamps, Scor-Pal, The Cat's Pajamas and several others) and several individuals (ie Confessions of Ribbon Addict Jody Morrow, Jessica Rone and several others) have contributed to her blog candy. See her web site here to get more information.

Here is the card I am sending to an Alzheimer's caregiver in appreciation of all they do. The caregivers are "angels" to many patients and families.

Stamps: Chelsea Angel by Annette Allen Watkins, Touch the Hearts by Finders Keepers
Paper: DCWV, K&Company
Ink: Ancient Page Coal
Accessories: Buttons, thread and pastels
Techniques: Coloring with pastels and sewing

This is so great to see Traci! I learned so much about Alzheimer's this summer in a class I took on the Psych. of Adulthood and progress is continuously being made, so the support is so important. And, yes, the caregivers are such angels.
Great work and absolutely adorable card! I just updated my blog group list to add you in!
